Spring Term
During the Spring term, Year 2 did lots of amazing work. Here is just a snapshot of what we got up to: In Maths, we learnt all about fractions, using them to answer questions involving numbers and shapes. In Literacy, we started learning how to text map. Text maps use pictures to help tell a narrative. These pictures are then used to help us with our writing. In Science, we learnt lots about animals and their needs, including the need for a good shelter and plenty of food. Finally, in Geography, we learnt lots about the area around us, using maps to identify human and physical features.
