Here at Wood Street School we provide high quality sporting opportunities. The children are coached by Sports Stars on a Wednesday where they learn team sports and other active skills. A multi sports club is also offered after school between 3pm and 5pm.
We feel the swimming lessons are hugely beneficial to all children and therefore Y1 and Y2 have weekly swimming lessons as part of our curriculum.
We also teach the children yoga and they regularly engage in mindfulness.
Providing the children with exciting and engaging life experiences is a huge part of what we believe in at Wood Street School. Therefore, we also offer many workshops and guest speakers to inspire our young athletes and dancers.
