September 2021 intake:
This year we will be running our school visits a little differently with a Virtual Tour and Zoom presentations run by our Head Teacher Mrs Washer, followed by Q&A sessions. Please click here to see the Virtual Tour that you can control using the 360º functionality.
November Update: All of our scheduled Head Teacher virtual presentations have now taken place. However, we plan to hold another one to ensure all prospective parents are given the opportunity to speak to our Head Teacher and ask questions.
Please click here to use this contact form to express your interest, and we will contact you with an invitation. The form also gives you the opportunity to send questions to Mrs. Washer that she can answer during the session.
We welcome in-year transfers if we have the capacity in class. Please call the school office on 01483 235 165 or email email@example.com to discuss.
If, after the school places are announced in April 2021, you wish to reject your given school in favour of Wood Street Infant School, you can appeal by clicking here.

Most of our children move onto Worplesdon Primary School when they leave our school. Our Year 2 children have priority to gain a Year 3 place at Worplesdon. Depending on individual circumstances, other schools our Year 2 children go to also include Queen Eleanor's Junior School, Northmead Junior School, Lanesborough and Rydes Hill.
Please note that those Wood Street children who have older siblings at other schools such as Worplesdon Primary, are able to leave 15 minutes early so parents have enough time to do both school runs. This usually gives 30 minutes between school pick ups.
