We had the pleasure of a visit from the curator of Chertsey

Museum.  She brought with her lots of WWII artefacts, which

the children were able to handle and demonstrate to one

another how they worked. 

 

They were taught what they were and why they were used,

such as gas masks and sirens. 

 

This was part of their project work about the 2nd World War,

and was a fascinating addition to their learning.
