The  French Day was a great success. The interactive drama
started the day as the children, all dressed in the coloursof the French
flag,  assembled at ‘Guildford Station’ where they embarked on a
journey to ‘Waterloo’ then off to ‘St Pancras’where they boarded
the ‘Eurostar’ which took them through the ‘Euro Tunnel’ and
into ‘Paris’. The children all had train tickets and passports and
were delighted with the roll of photographs on the interactive
whiteboard which brought their journey to life. A French breakfast
of croissants and fresh juice followed the arrival into Paris. The
day continued with many exciting activities and resulted in some
fabulous 3D models of the Eiffel Tower, Mont Blanc mountain and
the Arc de Triomphe.
