This half term Willow Class have been learning about the farm.  As part of this we arranged for an incubator to arrive with 10 eggs for the children to watch and explore.  It was an absolutely inspiring, engaging experience for the children, they loved coming into school in the morning to see how many had hatched and coming up with new names.  To see the full experience unfold check Willow Class Page.

As a school we have decided to permanently keep three of the chicks to watch them grow, learn to care for them and collect their eggs.  As they grow and change Mrs Willoughby will be enrolling other children in the day to day tasks to care for them.  So in the mean time meet the three newest members of Wood Street School:

Georgie, Hesta and Valery
