It was my first time taking the children up to our woodland school site and I was so impressed at how well they behaved and listened.  It is clear that they enjoy their learning time in the woods and it is a great opportunity for Mrs Hunt and I to observe the children in a different environment.

This week we took our activity supported our English learning.  We worked in teams to make a house of straw, a house of sticks and a house of bricks.  We then retold the story of The Three Little Pigs through drama.  Although not all the children were able to play a role, they all joined in with the script huffing and puffing and rubbing their chinny chin chins!  A big thank you to the parents who joined us.
