Painshill Park - 18.03.14

posted 18 Mar 2014, 09:44 by Unknown user
Today year 1 had a fantastic trip to Painshill Park. We went on a fact finding mission in the morning to find out about all the buildings in Painshill Park. We found out that there is an old Roman arch which used to be the entrance to a great banquet hall. We saw a man made grotto and some wonderful bridges. In the afternoon we had an art workshop where we made animals out of natural material, and then we did some clay painting with our twig brushes and finally made tree monster out of mud and sticks. The children really enjoyed getting messy and making some wonderful natural art.
